A Little Bit About Me
I might not be addicted per say to humous, but i love it. Hence, I called myself the Humous Addict. I love food and often get pinpointed at home - did you finish the X?
In the kitchen, I am more of an healthy chef who keeps trying out a new dishes. Though I am Sri Lankan by passport, I enjoy cooking dishes from other cuisines.
I believe that it our actions to define us. Rather than someone else pay for my Hajj, i waited till i was working, saved and alhamdulillah performed Hajj.

I am on Single Muslim because I rather find my better half than leave it to others.

What I Am Looking For
To be my better half by showing me how to be a better human being:
- picking the best of eastern and western values rather than surrendering to a culture
- having the guts to tell me the ugly truths...oh man I might regret this
- inspiring, teaching and guiding me and inshaAllah our children
- getting closer to Allah

The way I see it, marriage is how 2 people work around each other's weakness and mistakes to become each other's support. I don’t like the idea of depending on someone, but once I build trust, then I am willing to do this. As we grow older marriage forms a strong companionship between us. For instance, I want to have interesting conversations with you when we are older.
